Calvin Broyles introduces the Me-N-You pendant.

The Me-N-You pendant is an original design by CBJ Certified Gemologist, Randy Sims. The pendant is available in limited numbers at both the Spring Hill and Teays Valley locations. Each pendant is hand-made by the Calvin Broyles jeweler and is currently available in 14 karat white gold and 3/4 carat total diamond weight or NEW 1/3 carat total diamond weight.

What was the inspiration for creating the Me-N-You pendent?

Loving relationships in our modern world. In particular that of my wife Nancy's and mine. We each are individuals with unique interests that, at times, have us going in different directions. Notice that as each side of the design progresses, weaving back and forth, the diamonds get bigger, emit more light, they gradually get better, with the brightest part being where the two sides join together. In the case of Nancy and I, we experience life as individuals and it continues to get better and better as we grow together. Neither half of our lives together, nor the pendant design, could stand without the other. The phrase "Me-N-You" has been a part of our lives since we were dating (many wonderful years ago) when, in a fit of soft vandalism, I carved those words into a wall to mark 'our special place'.

The use of the phrase Me-N-You may not be proper English language usage, but it is used often in daily life so it has a feeling of comfort, but with an edge.

What does it signify?

The way that two separate lives that are dependant on one another tend to constantly drift close, then apart just a little, then closer again, until the ultimate realization that each is supported by the union with the other. Two Lives...Two Hearts...Together.

Are there options for the carat weight and the gold?

Currently the Me-N-You pendant is only available with 3/4 carat total weight of fine, near colorless diamonds in 14 karat white gold, or on request 14 karat yellow gold. Matching earrings are also available containing 2/3 carat total diamond weight. Other size and diamond weight options may be created in the future, but the 3/4 carat total diamond weight Me-N-You pendant and the 2/3 carat Me-N-You earrings seem to make a brilliant statement without being overwhelming. It is perfect for a fancy evening on the town or as a romantic statement when worn with a wedding dress. It's gentile enough to wear with casual or work clothes so you can display this symbol of your relationship anywhere, any time.

Can I get this anywhere other then CBJ?

Me-N-You jewelry is an original design that is hand made by a single craftsman. They are not mass produced. The name has a pending trademark registration and the design is copyrighted, so it can only be found at two locations on the entire planet. Calvin Broyles Jewelers has exclusive rights to produce and sell the Me-N-You pendant and earrings in their Spring Hill and Teay's Valley locations. They can be purchased nowhere else. And, since the Me-N-You pendant and earrings are crafted by a single artisan, limited numbers are available. You won't see everyone else wearing the same thing.

Introducing Seasons pendants

"Seasons" pendants are designed by Randy Sims and are crafted by the skilled hands of Chuck Fizer, exclusively for Calvin Broyles Jewelers.

The inspiration for the designs was Randy's favorite time of year in West Virginia. He frequently tries to describe life in West Virginia to family and friends that live in other parts of the country, or in other parts of the world. He thought "Why not commemorate my favorite time of year with a pendant design?"

Spring

As flowers begin to bloom in clusters of color…“Spring is my favorite time of year".

Summer

Summer in West Virginia brings a burst of sunshine that intensifies the brilliant green of our tree covered mountains and the cooling blue of our lakes and rivers. It glistens from the gold dome on the Capitol, and from everything else beneath its gaze…"Summer is my favorite time of year".

Fall

Raging reds and precious golds cling to the trees and flutter to the ground with a melancholy splendor felt only in a West Virginia fall…"Autumn is my favorite time of year"

Winter

A clear winter night when the moon shines over snow dusted West Virginia mountains is a sight not easily forgotten…"Winter is my favorite time of year".

These pendants are crafted in sterling silver with genuine gemstones that represent the colors and feel of the four seasons. The circle of each pendant measures approximately 1 inch in diameter and is suspended from a solid tapers bail large enough to accommodate a variety of chain thicknesses.
